Position Summary
As a Programme Manager at Triangle Thinktank, you will be responsible for driving the success of our research and policy programs from inception to completion. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization’s strategic initiatives, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact results.
Position Title: Program Manager (Logistics & Reporting)
Position Location: Beirut, Lebanon
Reports to: Triangle Directors
Duties and Responsibilities
Program Development:
- Work closely with senior leadership to conceptualize, design, and plan research and policy programs that align with our organization’s mission and objectives.
- Develop detailed program plans, including goals, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Project Oversight:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and execution of research and policy programs.
- Coordinate and supervise project teams, including researchers, analysts, and support staff, to ensure program goals are met.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and transparently.
- Monitor expenses, track financial performance, and report on budget status to senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, donors, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program alignment and maximize impact.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the quality of research and policy outputs, ensuring they meet high standards of excellence and relevance.
- Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess program effectiveness and impact.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present regular program updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Communicate program achievements, challenges, and outcomes to diverse audiences.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential program risks and issues, making proactive recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of research or policy programs.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep interest in research, policy, and social issues.
