Background:
A combined needs assessment and baseline study focuses on the collection of quantitative and qualitative data to grasp trends in attitudes, knowledge, perception and relationship in prison environment, social tension and violent extremism. The investigates current needs and gaps required to alleviate negative coping mechanisms and perceptions towards former detainees engaged in violent extremism, as well consider at opportunities to strengthen coordination and relationships between relevant institutions in charge of assisting former detainees.
