Background:

Triangle hosted a pivotal Gender Action Plan (GAP) Validation Workshop under the “ReCEVAL” project, in partnership with the National Mental Health Programme Lebanon, Médecins du Monde Lebanon, Skoun Addiction Center, and Embrace, funded by the AFD (Agence Française de Développement). This workshop was a key initiative aimed at advancing gender-integrated and holistic mental health (MH) and substance use (SU) services in Beirut, Baalbek, and Tripoli.

The focus of the workshop was to validate strategic activities, indicators, and roles outlined in the GAP, ensuring that these initiatives addressed the pressing need for gender-sensitive service provision in Lebanon. Key stakeholders gathered to discuss the intersection of essential health system building blocks and sustainable, gender-sensitive services, reinforcing Triangle’s commitment to fostering equitable and inclusive health services in the region.
